A champion sportsperson and one of the greatest and most successful opening batsmen of all time, Sunil Gavaskar's name is etched in record books as the first player to score 10,000 runs and 34 centuries (a record he held for over 2 decades). His average of 65.45 against the West Indies, who had the most vicious bowling attack in Test Cricket history, bore testament to his mental strength and his rock-solid technique. Sam was also featured in Campaign's Global Power List 2010 - a list of over 150 most influential people in media, marketing and advertising in the world.



Sports is his passion. This has been visible right through Melroy's growing years, which included him playing competitive Hockey at University level and competitive football and cricket at an inter-college level. The strong current of his love and passion for Sports carried him to the shores of Nimbus Sports where he started his career as a rookie when he was still in college.

Over the last 15 years since he joined PMG, Melroy has had the opportunity to continue to be associated with his passion. Now, as the COO of PMG, his passion has given birth to a deep desire to play a pivotal role in India's quest to become the next sporting superpower.
